Yesterday we went on a trip to the marae. It was a cold, freezing and rainy day. When I got there I heard the welcome call. First we had to take our shoes off before going into the meeting house. After that a prayer was said. Next, red house did a hongi as well as some of the parents and teachers. later in the wharekai,i had two biscuits and a drink. Finally we did some art activities and I drew a picture with koru patterns.
Jason went to the circus to get a balloon and he felt very happy. Then the wind blew the balloon against the barbed wire. Soon it burst! This made him feel unhappy. Later, his grandma bought him another balloon with sparkles and he felt happier than ever.
We went to the plaza with our nanny and our poppy.After that we went to Countdaown.My poppy went to the bank to get some [[#|money]] out. next we went to the swimming pool. I swam at the pool and then got out and got dressed. Later, we went to Mc Donalds to get some hamburgers, chips and chicken nuggets.
This year I am in Year 4 in Mrs Dale's Class. this class is called 5D. I go to writing with Mrs Anderson and I also go to reading with her. My friends are Kenneth andt Bob. When it is playtime,w will e play together. Today we will be learning how to catch and throw balls and how to batse it is one of a softball bat with Mr Mannion. We will also be practising our play for assembly. I chose a turquoise colour for my [[#|text]] because it is one of my favourite colours.
Happiness happiness is bright yellow all over my head. It tastes like ripe bananas. It smells like spring flowers. It look like a bright sunny day. It sounds like little bright bird chirping all day. It feels like a warm feeling in my heart.
